December brings the ski season! As I write this my legs and back are a little tender from lots of skiing over the last few days. My season started with a bang with two days of training at Lake Louise. I brought the camera but only took a couple pictures.
Lake Louise never disappoints. Today, I was the trainer welcoming 13 new instructors to Sunridge and beginning their on-snow assessment (practical part of the job interview) and on-boarding/training. If you're in the Edmonton area, please feel free to come ski with me at Sunridge. I may be able to arrange free lift passes.
On the photo side, I have two markets coming up this month. First, I will be in Ardrossan as part of the "Rural County Christmas" event on Dec 7 from 10am-4pm. Find me at the Ardrossan Senior's Club. There is parking right outside the building as well as plenty more spaces at the rec center across the street.
On December 15 from 11am-4pm, I will be in Fort Saskatchewan at the Dow Centennial Centre. The complex has a very large parking area.
I am continuing to work on the details of the dog photos arrangement with Wagsmore Unleashed. Over the next few days, I will be updating the dog photos section of my website so people can book and pay here then I will meet them and their newly groomed dog at Wagsmore for photos.
In unfortunate news, the ongoing Canada Postal workers strike means that I cannot ship anything outside of Edmonton. I'm continuing to look for alternatives but all of the big name courier options are very expensive. I am open to suggestions but for the time being all shipments are on hold. For those waiting, thank you for your continued patience.
See you in January for more skiing and maybe some dog photos.
