Benbulbin, also known as Benbulben, is a distinctive flat-topped mountain that dominates the skyline to the north of Sligo town. A part of the Dartry Mountains, this area is sometimes referred to as "Yeats Country" due to the poet W.B. Yeats's fascination with the mountain.
